About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration and support of the campus-wide Moodle learning management system.
  • Support faculty technology needs and participate in educational technology initiatives and special projects.
  • Collaborate with the Educational Technology Team to address evolving academic technology requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison for faculty and staff, providing expert technology recommendations and support.
  • Research and investigate emerging trends in academic software, hardware, and technology-related pedagogy.
  • Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions for faculty members.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of various educational technologies.
  • Knowledge of media services, including hardware and software installation.
  • Expertise in both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel to various campus locations for on-site support.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management or instructional technology.
  • Proven ability to train others on new technologies.
