Educational Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the Academic Advancement Center, including managing hiring, onboarding, payroll, and scheduling for over 100 student employees via Workday.
• Supervise tutors, graduate assistants, and front desk staff while facilitating training and operational meetings.
• Analyze student success data using advanced Excel tools (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) and university platforms to develop reports on engagement and retention.
• Conduct targeted outreach to connect at-risk students with tutoring and academic support services.
• Collaborate with academic departments to evaluate enrollment, course performance, and program effectiveness.
• Assist with budget tracking, purchasing, and resource management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working in an educational setting, preferably higher education.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use PivotTables, PivotCharts, and complex formulas.
• Proven experience in data reporting and analysis.
