About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote and sell data literacy instructional programs to California schools and districts
- Build relationships and drive sales by supporting educators in incorporating Tuva into math and science curricula
- Identify and target new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation
- Present and demonstrate Tuva's data literacy tools and instructional programs to potential customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing support to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with content and production teams to customize offerings for specific customer needs
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Attend conferences, workshops, and events across California to expand the customer network
- Provide customer feedback to the product development team to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Based in California with ability to travel regularly
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of data literacy concepts and the K-12 educational landscape
- Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in EdTech or K-12
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for education and empowering educators and students
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a K-12 teacher or educator, specifically in data literacy or related subjects
- Familiarity with education standards such as NGSS
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and data analysis skills
- Experience developing and delivering professional development sessions for educators
