About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out psychological assessments and needs analyses to inform tailored interventions
- Produce high-quality reports for families, schools, and professionals
- Collaborate with education staff to co-develop strategies that remove barriers to learning
- Deliver training and consultation to internal and external stakeholders
- Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and trainees
- Contribute to service development, research, and reflective practice
Requirements
- Doctorate in Educational Psychology and current HCPC registration
- Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs (desirable)
- Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Collaborative, reflective approach to practice
