About the role

Responsibilities

  • Carry out psychological assessments and needs analyses to inform tailored interventions
  • Produce high-quality reports for families, schools, and professionals
  • Collaborate with education staff to co-develop strategies that remove barriers to learning
  • Deliver training and consultation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and trainees
  • Contribute to service development, research, and reflective practice

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology and current HCPC registration
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs (desirable)
  • Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
  • Collaborative, reflective approach to practice
