Education Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate high school curriculum in agricultural sciences, including modules and resource guides aligned with National 4-H council standards
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate researchers involved in the project
• Organize in-person and virtual meetings for the educational project team
• Coordinate outreach activities and workshops to high schools, specifically targeting underrepresented minority students
• Facilitate undergraduate student internships at partner institutions
• Assist in managing the project budget related to educational goals
• Integrate project objectives with ongoing on-campus summer educational activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in an educational setting
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel frequently within Ohio and occasionally to Missouri

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Agricultural Education
• Previous experience as a high school teacher or curriculum director
