About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and disseminate high school curriculum in agricultural sciences, including modules and resource guides aligned with National 4-H council standards
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate researchers involved in the project
- Organize in-person and virtual meetings for the educational project team
- Coordinate outreach activities and workshops to high schools, specifically targeting underrepresented minority students
- Facilitate undergraduate student internships at partner institutions
- Assist in managing the project budget related to educational goals
- Integrate project objectives with ongoing on-campus summer educational activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in an educational setting
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel frequently within Ohio and occasionally to Missouri
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Agricultural Education
- Previous experience as a high school teacher or curriculum director
