About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and activation of the enterprise’s global brand voice and stylistic guidelines.
  • Set editorial direction and guide a high-performing team of writers, editors, and freelance contributors.
  • Partner with brand, design, digital, and product teams to deliver integrated, multi-channel content strategies.
  • Plan and execute multi-format editorial calendars including articles, newsletters, video, and podcasts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in writing and messaging, advising stakeholders across the organization.
  • Explore and apply emerging tools, including AI, to improve content creation and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital media, publishing, journalism, or content-rich brands.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven experience developing content strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Proficiency with creative production and project management tools such as Figma, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, or Wrike.
  • Ability to work onsite from the MillerKnoll office in New York, NY.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A portfolio demonstrating editorial ambition across digital, social, and long-form content.
  • Experience managing large networks of freelance contributors at scale.
  • Strong strategic point-of-view on achieving business goals through dynamic editorial storytelling.
