Editorial Development Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support authors during the manuscript writing process by providing guidance on scientific writing requirements
• Participate in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts
• Manage the production chain for assigned works, including copy preparation and composition, for both print and digital versions
• Coordinate communication with authors and external service providers to maintain schedules and budgets
• Contribute to team meetings and participate in discussions regarding process improvements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Publishing, Letters, Humanities, Communication, or a related field
• Professional fluency in both French and English (written and oral)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in academic or professional publishing
