Editorial and Events Strategy Leader

Responsibilities

• Implement organic positioning initiatives aligned with institutional and Rectorate priorities.
• Place narrative lines, key messages, and editorial angles to strengthen the university's public presence and reputation.
• Coordinate the positioning of the Rector as an institutional spokesperson in strategic conversations and influential spaces.
• Manage strategic relationships with journalists, editors, columnists, publishers, and opinion leaders.
• Identify editorial opportunities, forums, interviews, and platforms to amplify institutional messages.
• Monitor media, social, and cultural trends to analyze public perception and reputational risks.
• Translate institutional priorities into high-value content and media presence initiatives.
• Coordinate agencies and providers related to editorial communication and strategic positioning.

Requirements

• Degree in Communication, Journalism, Political Science, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic communication, editorial positioning, reputation, or public affairs.
• Proven experience working with high-profile public figures.
• Sophisticated understanding of the media ecosystem and reputational intelligence.
• Ability to connect institutional strategy with executive leadership and public conversation.
