Editor, Content Distribution

Responsibilities

• Drive editorial content distribution strategy and oversee FOX Sports Digital’s custom AI Newsroom suite of tools.
• Manage content dissemination across multiple channels including alerts, newsletters, and syndication partners.
• Utilize AI tools (such as Claude and Gemini) to automate metadata, descriptions, and transcription services.
• Conduct competitive audits and real-time social listening to identify emerging sports themes and whitespace opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure content is optimized for distribution from the start.
• Provide tactical support by writing copy, editing headlines, and managing high-pressure "fire drills."

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in audience engagement within a newsroom environment.
• Proficiency in AI tools and a strong interest in emerging technologies.
• Deep knowledge of sports verticals and FOX Sports properties.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong analytical and creative skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study.
