Editor, Aviation Business

Responsibilities

• Drive editorial planning and execution across the monthly magazine, website, newsletters, and social channels.
• Maintain the brand's position as a leading voice by building relationships with airlines, airports, regulators, and industry associations.
• Oversee content output across print and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, depth, and consistent tone.
• Lead major annual initiatives including power lists, special reports, and industry recognition programs.
• Play a central role in the brand's events portfolio, including moderating panel discussions and conducting on-stage interviews.
• Collaborate with the commercial team on sponsored features and content partnerships while maintaining editorial integrity.
• Stay updated on key developments in commercial aviation, aerospace, MRO, sustainability, and ESG.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of editorial experience, ideally within B2B or business publishing.
• Strong interest in aviation, aerospace, or transport infrastructure.
• Excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
• Proficiency with CMS platforms, social media channels, and newsletter systems.
• Ability to manage workflows and lead a major regional brand in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel across the GCC and attend major industry events.
