eDiscovery Counsel

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement discovery strategies tailored to complex environmental and consumer protection litigation.
• Work closely with case teams to integrate discovery strategy with overall litigation strategy and trial preparation.
• Advise clients on litigation holds, records retention, preservation obligations, and document collections.
• Draft and negotiate ESI protocols, protective orders, and discovery protocols.
• Collaborate on discovery motion briefing, conferral strategy, deposition preparation, and discovery-related hearings.
• Manage document review workflows, including technology-assisted review (TAR), analytics, and quality control processes.
• Oversee and coordinate with eDiscovery vendors and platforms, including budgeting and cost management.
• Evaluate and implement the adoption of new eDiscovery technology, including AI tools.

Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing.
• At least 6 years of litigation experience, with substantial responsibility for eDiscovery matters.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale databases in complex litigation.
• Strong working knowledge of eDiscovery platforms (such as Everlaw), workflows, TAR, and AI tools.
• Strong complex litigation skills and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and vendors.
