About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily global EDI operations, including production support, administration, and scheduling of EDI documents.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create detailed mapping for translations between SAP, external applications, and EDI formats.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the EDI structure, including system interfaces and policy changes.
- Work with VAN, AS2, (S)FTP, and HTTP(S) partners to implement enhancements and monitor document transmissions.
- Build, test, and maintain system interfaces including SAP, BI, and Ecommerce systems.
- Lead customer-based projects to digitize processes, such as implementing autoload capabilities to reduce manual orders.
- Provide technical guidance to IS team members and develop systems documentation and training programs.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance policies regarding maintenance, incident management, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in EDI Systems and Interfaces.
- Proven experience with Seeburger implementation, configuration, and setup.
- Expertise in BIC Mapping Designer (prem/cloud).
- Hands-on SAP experience for setting up EDI partners and tables.
- Strong understanding of communication protocols including AS2, VAN, (S)FTP, and HTTP(S).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA and EDI interfaces.
- Experience with data modeling and data architectural development methodologies.
