Eddy Current Inspection (ECI) Level II Technician

Responsibilities

• Operation, setup, and monitoring of an automated ECI system
• Creation and adjustment of testing programs according to the respective task
• Documentation of test results and maintenance of the ECI logbook
• Completion and application of ECI checklists within the scope of test programming
• Working according to customer-specific ECI testing standards and ensuring compliance
• Locating, evaluating, and documenting error indications, including sketching and determining error sizes
• Reviewing current standard revision statuses via SAP
• Performing recurring parameter tests to ensure stable testing processes
• Evaluating indications and performing tests for defined main customers
• Active participation in TOMIS/KVP topics for continuous improvement of testing processes

Requirements

• Completed technical training as a basis for work in testing and production environments
• Initial professional experience in a commercial-technical field, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, geometry, and handling work and control instructions
• Proficient use of SAP and MS Office for documentation and processing of testing-related tasks
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and on weekends
• Careful, reliable, and quality-conscious way of working
• Good English skills for handling technical specifications and testing standards
