About the Company

Middlebury College Franklin Environmental Center at Hillcrest develops, implements, and supports sustainability initiatives that achieve environmental, social, and economic goals throughout the campus community, College operations, and the community at large.

Responsibilities

EcoReps interns work as a team to connect Middlebury students to environmental consciousness and sustainability. Depending on the specific role selected, responsibilities include:

• Communications: Managing Instagram, creating newsletters, and designing outreach materials.
• Events Coordination: Creating volunteer opportunities and managing the ECommunity volunteer base.
• Athletics Liaison: Coordinating with athletics staff to green campus sports culture.
• Waste Intern: Educating the community on recycling, composting, and waste reduction.
• Partnerships Intern: Connecting academic departments with environmental resources and opportunities.

Requirements

• Creative, passionate team-player
• Excitement about sharing sustainability information
• Ability to work 3-10 hours per week (varies by role)
• Must be a Middlebury student
• For Athletics Liaison: Must be a Middlebury student athlete

Preferred Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary; training is provided.
