EcoReps Intern

Responsibilities

• Connect incoming and current Middlebury students to environmental consciousness and sustainability resources
• Work as part of a team to teach students about sustainability and environmental justice
• Execute sector-specific projects based on assigned role (Communications, Events, Athletics, Waste, or Partnerships)
• Participate in weekly team meetings and biweekly ECommunity circles
• Help foster open dialogue and innovation regarding climate change and community building

Requirements

• Must be a current Middlebury College student
• Creative, passionate team-player
• Excited about sharing information regarding sustainability efforts
• Ability to work 3-10 hours per week depending on the specific position

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in specific sustainability sectors such as waste management, communications, or athletics
• Experience with graphic design or social media management (for Communications role)
• Student-athlete status (required for Athletics Liaison role)
