Economics Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons to students in Grades 11 and 12
• Prepare students for Cambridge International AS & A Level examinations
• Support students in developing a strong understanding of microeconomics and macroeconomics
• Encourage the application of economic concepts to real-world issues and global developments
• Provide high-quality teaching, assessment, and feedback to support academic excellence
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the school
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely related subject
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Economics within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning and engagement
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
