Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
• Interpret and analyze echocardiogram images to diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions
• Communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate records of all examinations
• Follow established protocols and standards for examinations and equipment use
• Stay current with new developments in echocardiography through continuing education

Requirements

• BSE or EACVI Accreditation Required
• Proficiency in transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
