Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms to capture detailed images of the heart
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions
• Interpret results and prepare reports for cardiologists
• Ensure maintenance and calibration of diagnostic equipment
• Monitor patients during stress tests and other cardiac procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cardiac Physiology or a relevant scientific subject
• Certification from recognized professional bodies such as the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in echocardiography or a related clinical setting
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting echocardiographic equipment
• Ability to analyse and interpret echocardiographic data
