Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of echocardiograms
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with clinical protocols
• Work closely with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to support patient care pathways
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice
• Participate in audit and quality assurance activities
• Ensure equipment is used and maintained appropriately

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Echocardiography (highly desirable)
• Current HCPC registration
• Proficiency in echocardiography equipment and reporting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
