Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography
• Manage and follow up on patients with pacemakers to ensure proper device function
• Assist in the cardiac catheterization lab with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure support
• Provide high-quality patient care and address concerns during procedures
• Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data to provide accurate reports to the medical team
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Accreditation by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), EACVI, or ARDMS
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in echocardiography
• Competence in pacing follow-up and cathlab work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in advanced echocardiographic techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
