Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform specialist echocardiographic assessments including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
• Conduct comprehensive echocardiographic investigations and interpret results
• Provide detailed reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists and healthcare professionals
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality in adherence to British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and NHS protocols

Requirements

• BSE accreditation (essential)
• Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Proven experience in performing and reporting echocardiograms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
