Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to support clinical decision-making
• Work closely with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to provide cardiac assessments
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to departmental protocols
• Contribute to service efficiency and patient care standards

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Echocardiography or equivalent experience
• Current registration with RCCP or AHCS
• Proven experience in adult transthoracic echocardiography
• Competence in using echocardiography equipment and software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
