Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Analyse echocardiograms to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnoses
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Maintain and calibrate echocardiography equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols
• Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff
• Participate in audit and research activities to enhance service delivery

Requirements

• BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
• HCPC registration as a Cardiac Physiologist
• Significant experience in echocardiography
• Strong understanding of echocardiography techniques and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
