About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of eight to nine direct reports, setting performance goals and monitoring productivity.
- Manage workflows and organize tasks to ensure team members understand their duties and meet deadlines.
- Analyze rejection trends and patterns to develop corrective actions that prevent future invoice reductions and rejections.
- Track resubmission deadlines across various corporate clients and coordinate with billing specialists to resolve issues timely.
- Liaise with Client Accounts, billing specialists, and client representatives to provide expert support for electronic invoice submissions and appeals.
- Maintain mastery of major eBilling platforms including LegalTracker, CounselLink, TyMetrix360, Collaborati, and others.
- Utilize Excel to pull reports, create spreadsheets, and manipulate complex LEDES files.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of legal e-billing experience.
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing requests and firm deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, particularly during year-end peak periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree.
- Experience working with eBillingHub or BillBlast.
- Experience working with Aderant billing software.
