Eating Disorders Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with eating disorders
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to offer therapeutic support
• Develop treatment plans and liaise with other healthcare professionals
• Utilise Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) techniques to support patients
• Participate in service and business planning activities
• Maintain professional registration with the HCPC and comply with Trust policies

Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology
• Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Expertise in psychological assessments and interventions for eating disorders
• Strong experience with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
• High level of clinical skills evidenced by peer review and reports
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and IT literacy skills
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
