About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead aircraft repairs with a team or provide technical assistance to customers at the main maintenance base or worldwide locations
- Participate in damage assessment following major events
- Carry out inspection and certification of work according to work packages and authorization scope
- Ensure all work complies with OEM requirements, approved methods, procedures, planning, and cost estimates
- Complete and certify all work sheets, inspection schedules, logbooks, and maintenance records
- Promptly report and address all reported defects and associated rectifications
- Maintain tools and equipment in serviceable condition and ensure only approved materials and parts are used
- Supervise technicians and apprentices to ensure adherence to all safety practices and procedures
- Manage frequent off-site travel, which may last up to 12 consecutive weeks
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience, including at least 5 years as support staff on the ATR family
- Valid EASA Part66 License with ATR 42/72 Mechanical (B1) ratings
- Type training on ATR 42/72 (all types) and current training in Fuel Tank Safety, HF, and SMS
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with MS Office and Maintenance Information Systems (e.g., AMHOS, AMASIS, AD Software)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team in various field situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Holding an EASA Part66 rating C
