Early Years Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Early Years curriculum in an innovative and inspirational way, modelling outstanding practice.
• Maintain high expectations for all students and track progress through ongoing formative assessment and observations.
• Use summative assessments to support overall teacher assessments.
• Maintain a positive learning climate in accordance with school procedures, encouraging good behavior and high standards.
• Assess student work in line with school policies and performance targets.
• Participate in the school’s staff development and performance management programmes.
• Attend staff meetings, open evenings, parents’ evenings, and morning assemblies.
• Commit to the wider life of the school and the enrichment programme.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an international equivalent.
• Experience working within a primary school setting.
• Experience with the British curriculum is preferred, though recently qualified teachers will be considered.
