Early Years Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote exploration, active learning, and critical thinking
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners within a safe and inclusive environment
• Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, using data to inform future planning and next steps
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to parents regarding their child's development
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and support staff to maintain a positive classroom environment
• Support the personal, social, and emotional development of pupils through dedicated pastoral care
• Adhere strictly to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the welfare of all children

Requirements

• Relevant university degree
• Recognised teaching or Early Years qualification
• Proven experience working in an Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early years pedagogy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
