Early Years Educator

Responsibilities

• Support the education, welfare, and personal development of young children in a caring and inclusive environment
• Deliver high-quality learning experiences that encourage confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning
• Support children's daily learning and wellbeing, including providing personal care when required
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, stimulating, and well-organised setting
• Build strong professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
• Contribute to wraparound care provision and participate in school events and professional development
• Prioritise safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in all aspects of the role

Requirements

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with young children in a nursery, pre-school, or school setting
• Strong understanding of child development
• Deep commitment to safeguarding and child protection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Experience working with children aged 0–2 years
