Early Learning Substitute Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing the daily program
• Prepare the learning environment, materials, and supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Communicate with parents as directed by a supervisor
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children
• Support volunteers and attend requested meetings
• Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and employees
• Greet children, parents, staff, and guests

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Must pass a health screening and TB test
• Must pass background fingerprint clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Unexpired Associate Teacher Permit from the Department of Education
• Prior experience working with young children
• Immunization records complying with Senate Bill 792
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different centers
• Flexibility with on-call assignments
