Early Learning Substitute Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing the daily early learning program
• Prepare the learning environment, materials, and supplies
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment
• Support parent communication as directed by supervisors
• Work alongside teaching staff and center directors
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children
• Support volunteers and attend meetings as requested
• Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and employees
• Assist other centers and greet children, parents, staff, and guests

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a health screening and TB test
• Must pass background fingerprint clearance
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children
• Immunization records complying with Senate Bill 792 (measles, pertussis, and influenza)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different cities and centers
• Flexibility with on-call assignments
