About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate IFSP meetings with families, interventionists, and service coordinators
- Use Microsoft Outlook and NYEIS for data entry and case processing
- Ensure accurate completion of procedures per NYC Policy and Procedure Manual and NYS Regulations
- Complete all necessary documentation for evaluation and IFSP processes, including billing paperwork
- Respond to and participate in mediations and fair hearings
- Communicate professionally with EI providers, families, and colleagues
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Social Sciences, Health Care Specialization, Physical Sciences, or related programs with 4 years of progressive experience
- OR Master's Degree in Public Health, Public/Hospital Administration, Health Care Specialization, Business Administration, or related disciplines with 3 years of progressive experience
- Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of early childhood development, delays, and disabilities
- Knowledge of NYC services for young children
- Knowledge of EI regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
