Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, 3 years early childhood education teaching experience, Infant/toddler experience required, 2 years supervisory or management experience preferred, CPR/First Aid certification, Valid driver’s license

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Early Head Start infant and toddler teachers to ensure high-quality child development services
  • Conduct regular observations of classrooms and provide constructive feedback and support to staff
  • Ensure compliance with HSPPS and NH Childcare Licensing requirements in collaboration with the Education Specialist
  • Model responsive, supportive, and respectful adult-child interactions
  • Manage administrative tasks including reporting on developmental benchmarks, completing screening tools, and documenting curriculum plans
  • Support teacher onboarding, orientation, and ongoing professional development through supervision and training

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of early childhood education teaching experience
  • Direct experience working with infants and toddlers is required
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between sites
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a criminal record check

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a related field
  • Infant/toddler specific coursework
  • Knowledge of Head Start and Childcare Licensing policies
  • Experience in program development, implementation, and fiscal management
