Early Childhood Educator

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a safe, rich early care and learning environment for children within a licensed group child care setting.
• Engage with the British Columbia Early Learning Framework to support each child's emerging abilities.
• Create and maintain respectful, professional relationships with families, honoring parents and guardians as primary caregivers.
• Advocate for quality child care for individual children and families.
• Assist the Senior Early Childhood Educator with program compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive team culture and successful program environment.

Requirements

• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate to Practice.
• Current Emergency Child Care First Aid certification.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
