Early Childhood Educator

Responsibilities

• Assist with child supervision both indoors and outdoors
• Support daily routines including nap time setup, snack preparation, and dishwashing
• Engage meaningfully with children through reading stories and singing songs
• Participate in classroom activities in alignment with the Center’s mission and nature-based philosophy

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (a combination of education and extensive experience is acceptable)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A genuine commitment to the field of early childhood education
• Ability to sign the Child Abuse Policy statement and complete OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen training
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or submission of a written declination statement

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with young children in a professional setting
• Child development coursework or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
