About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Nature-Based Outdoor Preschool Program through active supervision both indoors and outdoors
- Assist with daily routines including setting up nap time, prepping snacks, and washing dishes
- Engage meaningfully with children by reading stories, singing songs, and facilitating exploration
- Participate in classroom activities in alignment with the Center’s mission and philosophy of responsive caregiving
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (a combination of education and extensive experience is acceptable)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A genuine commitment to the field of early childhood education
- Ability to sign the Child Abuse Policy statement and complete required OSHA training
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience working with young children in a professional setting
- Child development coursework or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
