Early Childhood Educator

Responsibilities

• Support the Nature-Based Outdoor Preschool Program through active supervision both indoors and outdoors
• Assist with daily routines including setting up nap time, prepping snacks, and washing dishes
• Engage meaningfully with children by reading stories, singing songs, and facilitating exploration
• Participate in classroom activities in alignment with the Center’s mission and philosophy of responsive caregiving

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (a combination of education and extensive experience is acceptable)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A genuine commitment to the field of early childhood education
• Ability to sign the Child Abuse Policy statement and complete required OSHA training

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with young children in a professional setting
• Child development coursework or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
