Early Childhood Education Mentor Teacher

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Education and Social Emotional teams to plan professional development
• Mentor, support, and guide teachers in strengthening professional practice
• Provide constructive feedback and model effective instructional strategies
• Develop and share resources for curriculum implementation and lesson planning
• Facilitate Community of Learning groups to foster continuous growth
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff
• Encourage family participation and engagement in child education
• Conduct classroom observations in accordance with grant obligations
• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years direct experience in a Head Start classroom
• Experience working with children impacted by poverty-related stressors
• Experience providing training and technical assistance supports
• Associate's degree in early childhood education (Bachelor's degree preferred)
