About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Teachers to plan and implement individual or group activities for children
- Participate in staff meetings, unit planning, evaluation, and professional development
- Assist with daily operations including greeting/dismissal, snack and lunch preparation, and playground supervision
- Support children's physical needs, including diapering, toileting, and dressing
- Maintain school safety and sanitation standards and report signs of illness to administration
- Lead or substitute for Teachers regarding children's programming as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of teaching or instructional experience
- US Teachers Certification
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
- Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)
