About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support program security operations through technical analysis, assessments, and oversight of security requirements and policies
  • Interpret and implement federal laws, regulations, and requirements for the intelligence community and US Department of Energy
  • Develop policies, processes, procedures, and tools to facilitate security requirements and assess implementation
  • Manage classified and sensitive information classification, marking, and handling
  • Conduct onsite assessments, risk assessments, security investigations, and compliance resolutions
  • Provide security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training
  • Team with cyber security staff, Field Intelligence Element staff, and government sponsors to maintain program security

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Albuquerque, NM
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI security clearance, which may require a polygraph test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience handling, protecting, and controlling SCI classified material
  • Knowledge of US Department of Energy, Department of Defense, or Intelligence Community security policies
  • Strong ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience providing outstanding customer service and building trust-based professional relationships
