EAP Counsellor

Responsibilities

• Provide single-session telephonic and video counselling and in-the-moment emotional support.
• Manage crisis telephonic interventions in a supportive, ethical, and professional manner while maintaining strict client confidentiality.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriateness for short-term counselling.
• Assess and manage high-risk calls, working closely with individuals in immediate need.
• Refer clients to appropriate external resources or internal WPO services as part of a holistic care approach.
• Develop clear and concise treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation in the case management system.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counselling or Psychology.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct client-contact experience providing mental health services (post-qualification).
• Proven experience with clinical assessment tools and conducting assessments.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work overnight shifts (Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri 8pm-7am IST).

Preferred Qualifications

• Training in mindfulness-based approaches.
• Training in solution-focused counselling.
