Eagles Nest Manager

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and retain student staff in food production and food safety protocols
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate daily coverage
• Manage food orders from multiple vendors and maintain inventory levels
• Oversee menu development to ensure offerings are creative and aligned with current trends
• Maintain the Grubhub app with up-to-date menu items and pricing
• Utilize Quadpoint software to manage registers and ensure accurate ordering processes
• Rotate shifts between morning and evening periods as required by the semester schedule

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of experience in food service, preferably in higher education or student dining
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency in using scheduling and point-of-sale (POS) software
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Cooking experience in a high-volume operation
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification or equivalent food safety certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other administrative software
