E Sports Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train student-athletes across multiple competitive game titles.
• Develop practice schedules, game strategies, and review sessions to enhance teamwork and performance.
• Provide guidance to students on balancing academic responsibilities, wellness, and competitive play.
• Coordinate esports programming, tryouts, and tournaments across both the Brooklyn and Post campuses.
• Oversee team conduct, eligibility, and adherence to university and league policies.
• Support recruitment efforts through admissions events and serve as an ambassador for the program.
• Partner with Athletics, Student Affairs, and IT departments to manage facilities and equipment.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of competitive esports titles such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, or Valorant.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or managing student-athletes.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Significant professional experience in esports or competitive coaching.
