E&I Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide E&I support for assigned assets, including pipelines, remote monitoring facilities, and pump stations.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and calibrate midstream instrumentation such as flow meters, transmitters, sensors, and PLCs.
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment including motor control centers, generators, transformers, and power distribution centers.
• Configure and program industrial control systems and perform loop checks and point-to-point verification.
• Respond to and resolve station alarms and communicate findings to appropriate parties.
• Maintain accurate, regulatory-compliant documentation and generate computerized work requests.
• Perform all duties in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with DOT and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous electrical or instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location in Clermont, IN.
• Ability to pass a general background check and motor vehicle background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or journeyman’s card in a related technical field.
• Previous pipeline electrical and instrumentation experience.
