About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly skilled installation, commissioning, inspection, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Calibrate and modify Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and radio communication systems (SCADA).
  • Support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by following safe operating practices and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Utilize computerized Maintenance Management Systems to create work orders for inventory, work planning, and prioritization.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with engineers to implement design changes and prepare change orders.
  • Partner with employees and contractors to ensure all related equipment operates at peak efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of current oil and gas or related industry experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to work a 14/14 rotational schedule, including rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Ability to successfully complete post-offer drug and alcohol screening, background checks, and physical examinations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate of Applied Science or higher degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electrical, or related technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of instrumentation and control experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Broad knowledge of SCADA, transmitters, loop schematics, and PLC logic.
  • Electrical Journeyman license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Prometheus.
