E & I Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop E&I engineering deliverables in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Identify E&I scope of work and communicate required inputs to supporting departments.
• Prepare RFQs for electrical and instrumentation items and provide technical recommendations on sub-vendor offers.
• Handle electrical equipment including motors, local control stations, and motor starters.
• Manage instrumentation such as pressure, level, and flow transmitters, gauges, and control valves.
• Prepare technical documentation including single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, load lists, cause & effect diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Review P&IDs to ensure E&I scopes are properly aligned.
• Support internal testing engineers during FAT and assist QC teams in closing punch points.
• Travel to sites to support commissioning activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BSc) in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) from a reputed university.
• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in E&I engineering.
• Mandatory experience with explosion-proof equipment and knowledge of ATEX/IECEx and Ingress Protection certifications.
• Proven ability to prepare wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and load lists.
• Proficiency in reading P&IDs, skid GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong expertise in the design side of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Wellhead control panels, chemical dosing packages, metering skids, or water treatment packages.
• Exposure to Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, PDO, Shell, or QE Energy company specifications.
• Familiarity with international electrical and instrumentation symbols and standards.
