E & F System Owners - Senior Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance strategies for owned turbine and generator systems
• Manage outage planning, scheduling, and coordination for forced, planned, and maintenance outages
• Administer the work order management system by prioritizing work orders and providing detailed work scopes
• Track and provide input for budget development, including contractor labor, materials, and equipment needs
• Support Root Cause Analyses (RCA) on system issues and implement best practices
• Provide technical direction and coordination to maintenance crews and contractor personnel
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance strategy via preventative maintenance tracking

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Supercritical Generating Plant
• Thorough understanding of electrical generating plant equipment, systems, and turbine/generator maintenance
• Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including extended work hours when necessary
• Strong analytical skills to determine solutions for critical plant equipment situations
• Effective written and oral communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Maximo and Oracle Cloud
• Experience with resource planning, system ownership, or budgeting
• Proficiency in Tableau, OIS, CIMS, or Excel
• Experience with specific disciplines such as welding, precision measurement, rigging, or electrical troubleshooting
• Previous experience at Plant Bowen
