E and I QC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and review construction documents for E&I compliance.
• Monitor all phases of E&I and Telecommunication works, including design, procurement, construction, and final handover.
• Implement Method Statements and ensure all necessary quality records are generated in a timely manner.
• Manage inspection and testing of E&I works and supervise QC Inspectors.
• Monitor the close-out of punch lists and ensure all measurement and testing instruments are calibrated and functional.
• Coordinate with third-party testing and inspection companies.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances, raising Non-conformance Reports (NCR) when necessary and monitoring corrective actions.
• Assist the QC Manager with periodic audits of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support systems commissioning and the preparation of final certification documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics or Instrumentation.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunication systems.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience with ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to review manufacturer and vendor documents during the design and procurement phases.
• Strong supervisory, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
