Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Own and define the end-to-end technical architecture for D365 F&O implementations
• Design scalable and secure solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices and client enterprise architecture
• Lead technical design workshops and translate functional requirements into technical specifications
• Oversee development activities including X++ extensions, integrations, and data migration
• Design and implement integrations using OData, REST/SOAP, Business Events, and Dual-Write
• Define data migration strategies using Data Management Framework (DMF)
• Perform performance tuning and optimization using LCS, Trace Parser, and Azure monitoring
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Participate in presales activities including solution design, estimations, and RFP responses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 F&O, preferably in consulting
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert
• Proficiency in X++, Life Cycle Services (LCS), and Azure DevOps
• Advanced knowledge of the Azure cloud platform (networking, security, and server design)
• Experience with integration technologies including OData, REST/SOAP, and middleware
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and ALM standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of DevOps principles and automated testing (ATL)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization
• Familiarity with D365 modules such as Finance and Supply Chain Management
