About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute Design Verification Tests (DVT) according to established test plans and procedures
  • Set up, operate, and monitor test equipment and liquid cooling systems in a lab environment
  • Collect, verify, and document accurate test data and maintain detailed test logs
  • Monitor system performance in real-time and respond to alarms, faults, or abnormal conditions
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to test setup, instrumentation, and system performance
  • Support root-cause investigations for test failures and unexpected results
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to support validation activities
  • Assist with prototype builds, test setup modifications, and system adjustments
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of lab spaces using 5S practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 1–4 years of experience in test engineering, lab operations, or product validation
  • Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and basic electrical schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with thermal systems, liquid cooling, or HVAC equipment
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation
  • Exposure to ASHRAE testing or similar performance validation methods
  • Experience supporting Factory Witness Testing (FWT) or customer-facing test activities
  • Basic understanding of controls systems or PLC operation
