Responsibilities
- Participate in supervised patient care at a small animal practice
- Gather histories, perform physical exams, and assist with diagnostics and treatment plans
- Scrub in to surgery and support medical case management
- Provide wellness care and client communication support
- Produce medical records and SOAP notes within daily practice time limits
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited DVM program
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Professional liability insurance coverage
- Professional conduct and adherence to veterinary supervision standards
